For over 30 years, we’ve been investing in, building and managing destination car parking facilities. With a specific expertise in healthcare car parks, we bring unrivalled experience in the development, operation, business administration, financing and facility management of commercial car parks.

We apply our unique model to develop greenfield car parks or acquire brownfield assets. Our unrivalled scale and expertise allows us to offer attractive terms at no cost or risk to the hospital or adjoining business. In addition, our deep understanding of the complex relationship between hospital activity and car parking demand enables us maximise the value of healthcare car parking assets.

Our sustainable approach

We are committed to futureproofing our assets, reducing our carbon footprint and providing environments that promote well-being. We continue to work towards our clean energy targets, including a 20 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions by 2025. Recent initiatives include:

  • energy-efficient LED lighting and EV charging infrastructure powered by on-site solar PV
  • ventilation system upgrades that reduce carbon emissions by over 1,000kg annually

Greenfield car parks

IPG undertakes design, finance and construction of new car park assets in return for the right to operate the car park for an agreed term

  • IPG applies over 25 years of design experience to ensure a positive user experience

  • We use Tier 1 contractors to deliver first class car parking facilities with the latest car parking technology uniquely adapted to each client site

  • Full risk transfer to IPG including design, construction, finance, maintenance, patronage and operating risk

  • Tariffs, parking allocations, revenue share and handback condition are agreed upfront to provide certainty to asset owners

  • Sustainability and future proofing of our assets is a key focus for each of our car parks

Brownfield assets

IPG is able to help clients monetise existing car parking operations and redeploy capital into core activities

  • IPG uses its experience developing and managing over 15,000 bays to optimising the value of existing car parking operations

  • Full risk transfer to IPG including finance, maintenance, patronage and operating risk

  • Economies of scale across the IPG portfolio allow IPG’s clients to extract maximum value from existing car parking assets

Our Team

Brett Cohen
CEO

As CEO, Brett has ultimate responsibility for asset management of the IPG portfolio in addition to leading the bidding and development of new assets to add to the portfolio. Brett has over 25 years’ experience in real asset investment and financial services having been involved in developing, financing and advising on infrastructure transactions exceeding $5bn in value.

Brett has over 10 years experience working with healthcare car parking infrastructure. He is a strategic and innovative thinker with good foresight and sound judgement who enjoys solving complex problems to generate win-win solutions.

 

Patricia Abeleda
CFO

Patricia’s enthusiasm for financial and operational efficiency encompasses her approach to planning, implementing and managing IPG’s finances.  She loves the great work culture and training offered by IPG, which allows for the continual improvement of processes and systems. Tony Johnson
Asset Management Director

Tony Johnson is a finance and commercial leader with 30+ years’ experience in asset management, commercial strategy, and risk management across Australia and the UK. He has overseen multi-billion-dollar budgets, transitioned major infrastructure projects into long-term PPP asset models, and delivered efficiency through portfolio optimisation and revenue growth. He maintains strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across IPG’s portfolio, ensuring alignment, optimisation and long-term value.
